My passion for painting
There is only one word to express my motivation to paint: COLOUR. Vivid colours represent for me the full feeling of life.
I want my artwork to be enjoyed by people; give them pleasure and moments of detente. I like to make my friends acquainted with paintings from artists being not so popular in Italy like the representatives of German expressionism who created pictures of extraordinary flair.
The process to reproduce such masterpieces gives me a lot of fun and satisfaction in that way that I combine colours and modify this pictures on my own taste. My goal does not consist of creating exact copies.
About my painting material
I'm painting with oil pastels, oil- and water-colours.
Oil pastels are my preferred medium because of their colour intensity and their easiness to use them in all circumstances (in nature, inside etc.) and on all kinds of material.
The oil pastel sticks I'm using are of high quality from the traditional art shop Senelier in Paris. They were originally produced for Picasso.
